Awkwafina
Awkwafina was initially an American rapper and singer, releasing sly tracks that tackled issues such as racial and sexual identities with a funny twist. Prior to her move to Hollywood, she was able to perform a variety of tracks. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first encounter with music was via the trumpet. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop education began when she was just a teenager. While in college, she took classes in the field of women's studies and journalism. Then, she even had an hour studying Mandarin in Beijing. The focus changed to music once she finished her studies. The My Vag song, My Vag which was her reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick, became a viral hit on the Internet and eventually appeared on her first LP Yellow Ranger. It also contained viral hits such as the body-positive Queef or winking hometown tour New York Bitche$. This latter song was directly tied to Awkwafina's NYC, a 2015 travel guide. A musician and author was as her credentials, she set her sights on a third endeavor actor. As well as early shows, such Girl Code and Tawk - she was in films Neighbors 2 Storks & Bad Rap. Her breakthrough came in the year 2018, with several notable films like Dude Ocean's Eight and Crazy Rich Asians. Then in June, she launched the EP in Fina We Trust.
